Cooking Instructions

  • 1.Let's put our chickpeas that are drained and organic only into a blender so a whole can would be amazing the juice of a whole lemon lemon is so zesty and obviously very rich in vitamin C.
  • 2.It's a misnomer to think that you're getting vitamin c from oranges and orange juice, in fact lemons have more vitamin c than oranges so this is a great way to boost the immune system along with our super greens which are alkalizing.
  • 3.I always like to use organic garlic as well - it really makes everything taste so much more flavoursome. So you can crush garlic or grate it in but that all goes in the blender as well.
  • 4.Now let's put some beautiful quality olive oil about a quarter of a cup. Sprinkle some healthy rose super greens into our blender- about a tablespoon and some fresh parsley.
  • 5.Parsley actually negates the flavor of any garlic or onion it works from the gut Don't blend it up too smoothly we want it to be nice and chunky so that it serves as a dip with corn chips or gluten-free crackers.
  • 6.Yum.. you can smell the garlic and the lemon juice. This is a great vegan recipe and now for the garnish some chickpeas on top so we can remember what it is.
  • 7.Some beautiful fresh chili flakes. Yum…and to keep it nice and moist so that we can keep it in the fridge. Some olive oil to garnish.
  • 8.Garnish with a little bit more parsley and there you have your healthy dose of super greens hummus with a nice little twist on a traditional hummus Smells zesty and garlicky and full of nutrition.
